Artist Statement

Art communicates where words fail. As a multimedia creative, I have explored this single statement through a diverse range of works unified in their ability to translate conceptual messages, memories, and feelings into a palpable visual language. Without the limitation of a single medium, I have been able to approach each new project without prejudice, allowing for a natural flow of new techniques and styles that contribute to a greater message. Whether it be evoking an emotion through the brushstrokes of a painting, capturing a moment through the composition of a photograph, or communicating history through the colors of a brand, I am equally inspired by the ability for each chosen detail to contribute to a deeper narrative.  

In a world that is ever moving, always distracted, and forever changing, through my work I strive to add beauty and depth to my surroundings by dwelling in the details. By intimately relaying the testimony of a face, slowly meeting brush with canvas, and intentionally forming lines into a message, each realm of artistic expression becomes a tool used to communicate past the ability of words.
